Actually stocked it, huh? Well, I'll wait to pass my impressions until I've seen what you've stocked it with, but that's a good start.
[He said it with a smirk, clearly teasing the older man a little, but he held his hand the entire way to the car. He touched him the entire drive back to the Tower, his arm threaded through the gap between Dick's side and where his cast was resting on the armrest so that Jason's hand could lay on his thigh. Not teasing or hinting or anything untoward. Just touching him. Keeping contact.
Getting the call that Dick had been hurt had shaken him up. After all, even something as simple as a broken arm, if it healed wrong it could change their lives forever. Dick wasn't worried, but Jason couldn't help the little line of dread that traced his spine.
Dick was the first of them to fly. It wouldn't be right if he was grounded.
It was that line of worry that distracted him enough to get him to step out of the elevator into that dark room....but then his instincts kicked in and he was in the process of dropping his bag and pulling the knife that he sure as hell shouldn't have been able to have on the plane. He didn't actually have time to throw it towards one of the people he could feel hiding, but it was a close thing.
He ended up freezing in the stance to throw for a solid second before he straightened up and turned to give Dick a wild look.]
I almost...! You-! You motherfucker, that was a bad idea on so many fucking levels and you are so lucky I didn't gut someone, you ass hat!
[The flare of anger was real. But so was the complicated, adrenaline filled grin that slowly crept over his lips.]
For Farcry
