There was another sound of crumbling building and Jason's breath did something complicated and probably unhealthy, but he didn't panic. He pressed the phone closer to his ear and wedged himself in tighter against the wall at his back. It was an exterior wall, thicker and reinforced with brick facings and so far it hadn't shown any sign of coming down.
