Perhaps it was foolish of Tim not to expect Dick to catch on and try to investigate his little outings. The first Robin had been one of his first mentors, one of the first people on the planet that seemed to see Tim as something more than an annoyance. Dick was protective, always had been, and if he thought Jason was hurting Tim he'd have no problem putting a stop to it.

But, as smart as he was, Tim hadn't been expecting it. His eyes were closed, lips barely parted in a sweet little moan when suddenly Jason was ripped off of him. It was only his strict training that prevented him from falling on his ass there on the roof, eyes snapping open as his brain reeled to catch up with what was happening in front of him. Jason had a gun and his instinct would be to protect himself. Fuck. Jason had a gun and was pointing it at Dick...!

Panic flooded through every inch of his body. Everything in Tim was screaming at him to get in between the two before they could do anything stupid. He couldn't let either of them get hurt, not if he could prevent it. And it was in that split second he saw the glow of Dick's escrima. "No, wait!" Both of his gloved hands reached for Dick's back in an attempt to stop him. As fast as he was, he wasn't fast enough to make any difference, and Jason hit the rooftop hard.

His hands grabbed for one of Dick's arms to try to pull him a little bit backward while in the same moment using his own finesse to get between the two men. Both of them were stronger than him, but he was banking on them both caring about him enough that they wouldn't hurt him to get at each other before they could talk. His eyes were pleading even through his domino, gazing up at Dick as he pressed his palms against his chest. He needed Dick to focus entirely on him--that would Jason time to recover and then Tim could assess whether he needed to talk some sense into his boyfriend, too. Which he was willing to do, but jeeze. Couldn't any of this just be easy?

"You know Hood's not the sort to do anything I don't want, not like that." Even when Jason was out of his mind fresh from the Pit, he'd never stoop so low. The first time the two of them slept together, Tim had to tell Jason three different times how much he wanted him to get him to relax, and even then Tim still had to kiss him to shut him up when he talked to much.

"Come on, N. Please. I don't want you guys to fight. I promise that I'm all right. Just give me a minute to explain everything, okay?" Though it would have been easy to be furious with Dick (and he WAS still mad at him, because Jason was still hurt), his rational mind knew that the most important thing was to prevent a brawl. Then he could worry about his own feelings.
